Hi Boyana,
That should be detected by autoconf.  You can check ³build_cpu² in
config.log located at your build tree.
You might simply use ³uname -a² to check your machine hardware and
operating system names.  If x86_64 is shown, your gcc might be configured
and built with i686 option.  You might need to try other GCC versions, 4.7
or 4.8, to build ROSE.
